OUR STORY

At Grace Ground ministries, our story is His story in our lives.

The transformative power of God’s love is so incredible that we are passionate in sharing the Joy, Peace, and confidence Jesus alone gives. In both personal and community settings, our prayer is the

apostle Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3:16-21.

WHO WE ARE

We are women who love Jesus and have been transformed by His grace and forgiveness.
We each have a personal story to share about how we have found true freedom and rest in Jesus Christ.

Nancy Zichterman

In the 1980’s Nancy Zichterman was mentored by an older sister in Christ who revealed the life changing biblical truths of the work of Jesus imparted to the child of God at the moment of salvation. The fact that we are truly crucified with Him, and have been made righteousness through the sacrifice of Jesus who became sin for us. Rest is her favorite word to describe living in Jesus, we can stop striving to please Him. Once a person hears and embraces this truth, there is no turning back, it is an unstoppable walk of Grace.

For 23 years Nancy has been teaching women the same biblical truths her mentor shared. The ripple effects continue to move outward, touching people of every age. It is her passion to speak the message of living from the indwelling Christ, “He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature.”
2 Peter 1:4.

Katie White

Katie understands the dramatic contrast from walking in performance-based Christianity vs. the true, free, abundant life in Christ she was made for because she has walked both roads. Since her life was radically transformed by the Truth that set her free- shame, fear, and guilt no longer get to be part of her story.

Katie is passionate about sharing the Biblical Truth that changes lives in an understandable and personal way.

With over 20 years of training, experience, and full reliance on Holy Spirit, Katie leads women’s groups, Bible studies, and speaks at women’s retreats and conferences and gets to see God do more than she could ask or imagine in other women’s lives as well.

When she is not delightfully in her studies, you will find Katie cherishing time with her husband Brian and their three adult children, painting in her art studio, traveling, or enjoying the nature that surrounds their family farm in Hudsonville, MI.

Wendy Huizinga

Wendy loves praising God and leading people in truth through heartfelt praise and worship. She serves as the Music & Worship Arts Director at Orchard Hill Church where she helps develop teams and disciple others to use their gifts for God's kingdom.
Both she and her husband Mark enjoy serving together in ministry while leading and writing music, pouring into the couple's ministry at church and writing books and devotionals for couples. In their free time they enjoy camping and spending time with their three young adult children.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in the Triune God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is fully God inspired (2 Tim.3:16), complete, and inerrant. The spoken Word of God is powerful, alive, and effective. (Heb.2:2, Heb.4:12).

We believe in the miraculous work of God in the creation of heaven, earth, and all life by the power of His spoken Word. (Gen.1).

We believe God made mankind in His image, male and female, designed to reflect God in the earth while being in beautiful, pure fellowship with Him

We believe that when mankind disobeyed God in the garden of Eden, sin and death entered changing mankind and all creation to now be under the curse- the power of the enemy, Satan.

We believe mankind cannot rescue themselves even though they have knowledge of good and evil. No amount of good works can change the fact that they are dead inside (Rom.5:12, Rom.6:12;1Pet.1:18).

We believe that God the Father’s plan in Jesus Christ alone can rescue man from the curse of sin and death (1Jn.3:8).

We believe Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary in the power of the Holy Spirit, to be fully God and fully man, revealing mankind’s desperate need for him as the Savior.
We believe that in being born again as Jesus explained to Nicodemus (Jn.3:5), a child of God now possesses the finished work of Jesus Christ who is The Way, the Truth, the Life. (Jn. 14:6)
